SAN JUAN -- Letran pulled away after a sluggish first half to subdue Arellano, 88-70 in the last game of the Tuesay tripleheaders of the 94th NCAA Men's basketball tournament tonight at the FilOil-FlyingV Centre.

Jeff Napa's Knights leaned on the big game by Larry Muyang to get their fourth straight win, improving its record to 4-1 ahead of their titanic tiff on Friday against old nemesis San Beda.

The former La Salle slotman only missed once from the field en route to his double-double of 16 points and 10 boards, with Jerrick Balanza followed him closely with 14, eleven of them coming in the third where they outscored Arellano by 10.

Letran's offensive rebounding was on cue for the entire game, as it took 40% of their total rebounding output, while outscoring the Chiefs 23-2 on second chance points.

Michael Canete led all scorers with 23 but Jerry Codinera's side had little help fom his supporting cast to fall down at 2-3.
