MANILA--Blackwater sizzled in overtime to turn back TNT, 104-98, in the PBA Governors' Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Friday night.

After engaging in a close encounter in regulation, the Elite went to work in the first half of the extra five minutes, going on a 11-3 run to turn an 86-all deadlock to a 97-89 lead with 2:17 to play.

The KaTropa threatened after trimming the lead down to half, 97-93, with 1:28 to go, but the Elite quickly restored the eight-point cushion thanks to a huge basket from Allein Maliksi off a Henry Walker steal and they held on.

Maliksi fired 28 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Blackwater, which opened its campaign in the season-ending conference on a high note.

Walker added 23 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks, while Rabeh Al-Hussaini had his best game in recent times, tallying 13 markers and 10 boards.

Stacy Davis struggled in his PBA debut for TNT, only making 9-of-26 from the field for 23 points and six turnovers, although he also had 16 rebounds and one block.

Terrence Romeo led TNT, which slipped to 1-2, with 24 points, three caroms, three dimes, and two steals.
