QUEZON CITY--Despite being thankful for winning the Best Player of the Conference, Junemar Fajardo somehow rued San Miguel's blowout Game 4 loss to Ginebra in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.

"Tapos na yun. Natalo kami sa game. Kailangang mag-regroup and then mag-bounce back next game," said Fajardo after the game on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Hours after getting his seventh BPC plum, the 6-foot-10 big guy was basically quiet offensively, only making 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting.

Even if his last basket catapulted him to the 5,000 Points Club, it only had little effect on the Beermen's cause as they were already way behind the Barangay.

"Sabi ko nga, 'Hindi ganun kadali porke't natambakan namin sila twice in a row tapos tatambakan namin ulit sila at makukuha namin ang panalo,'" Fajardo continued.

Still, he expressed his gratitude to God and his entire team for the individual award.

"Credit ko sa kanila yun kasi di ko naman makukuha yun kung di dahil sa kanila," Fajardo further said. "Blessed ako. Sobrang thankful ako na nanalo ako ng BPC."
