MANILA--Basically holding a twice-to-beat disadvantage in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals, San Miguel is now on an uphill task to defeat Ginebra twice to keep the championship and the grand slam hopes alive.

For the Beermen, as per Arwind Santos, all they need to think is what they did back in 2016.

"Di pa naman tapos eh, di ba? Sabi ng bawat isa sa amin, kung yung 0-3 nga, naka-survive kami, eto pa kayang dalawang panalo lang?" Santos said.

The six-foot-four forward is pertaining to the so-called "Beeracle", in which SMB rallied back from 0-3 down to steal the Philippine Cup title away from Alaska, the second of an unprecedented four-peat in the season-opening conference.

But also according to Santos, pulling a comeback from 2-3 down against Ginebra should be done one step at a time.

"Di namin kailangang madaliin," he continued, vowing that he will bounce back from a hurried and ill-advised long triple late into Game 5 that helped spell doom for the Beermen.

Game 6 of the series is at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Wednesday night, and a win by SMB will force a Game 7 on Friday night.
