PASAY--In a sport least expected by many to net an Asian Games medal, Yuka Saso got two golds.

Saso won it all in the women's individual category of the said meet's golf competition at the Pondok Indah Golf and Country Club in Jakarta on Sunday.

The 17-year-old Bulacan native went 13-under-par 275, three better than Liu Wenbo of China.

It was actually a 1-3 finish for the Filipinas as Bianca Pagdanganan beat Ayaka Furue of Japan in a playoff for the bronze after both finished with identical 9-under-par scores.

Saso and Pagdanganan then teamed up with Lois Kaye Go to capture the women's team gold.

The two-gold, one-bronze haul assured that the Philippines will have a better finish than its dismal one-gold showing in all of the 2014 edition in Incheon.
