PASAY--NBA legend Brian Scalabrine confirmed what many think about the basketball savvy of the Philippines.
"People have told me that the Filipinos love basketball, and it’s 100 percent true," Scalabrine said in a short chat with reporters on Sunday during the national finals of the NBA 3X at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
He then explained, "When you’re out here, you can really see the love and passion they have for the game."
Scalabrine was in town over the week for the NBA 3X event with fellow NBA legend Tim Hardaway.
