MANILA--TNT will bring in a new foreign reinforcement as its PBA Governors' Cup campaign continues against Blackwater in the first Pasay leg of the tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.
Enter Stacy Davis, who made the six-foot-five height limit for imports in the conference.
The 23-year-old Davis, who went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, played for four seasons at Pepperdine University before making stops in Ukraine and France.
Davis, as first reported by Gerry Ramos of Spin.PH, will take over the spot vacated by Mike Glover, who was immediately sent home following a dismal performance on Friday night against NLEX.
The KaTropa will face the Elite, who are making their debut in the tournament, in the first game of the doubleheader at 4:30 p.m.
Blackwater looks to use the lessons it learned from its stints in Indonesia and Macau in its PBA return.
Also making its Governors' Cup debut is Alaska, which will face Meralco in the main game at 7 p.m.
The Aces are playing for the first time since trading away Calvin Abueva to the Phoenix Fuel Masters, and they are up for a daunting task against the Allen Durham-led Bolts.
