SAN JUAN, MM--Team Dragon's Den and Hiyas Pilipinas ruled in their respective divisions at the Under Armour Ultimate 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at the Jacinto Tiu Competition Court inside Xavier School on Saturday night.
Dragon's Den, consisting of Kobe Francisco, Gershom Montes, Cian Villaflor, and John Peters, won the boys division after knocking out Chi Kids, 15-9, in their championship match.
On the other hand, the team of Angel Surada, Princess Fabruada, Caila Galamiton, and Karl Ann Pingol took the distaff championship after romping the team from English Christian Academy, 15-5.
Dragon's Den and Hiyas each took home PHP35,000 worth of gift certificates from Under Armour and the bragging rights to become the Philippine representatives to the Under Armour 3x3 Southeast Asia Tournament.
Meanwhile, Chi Kids and ECA each took home PHP20,000 worth of GC's for the runner-up finishes.
Taking the bronze medals are Team Dream Crushers (men's) and UP Diliman (women's) even as they also took home PHP15,000 worth of Under Armour GC's.
