BAGUIO--Baguio is now a cinch to once again become the overall winner of the Batang Pinoy National Championship after pulling away in the medal tally following the confirmation of the Thursday night and early Friday results.
As of 9 a.m. Friday, Baguio now has 46 golds, 46 silvers, and 57 bronzes to take the top spot as erstwhile medal leader Laguna slipped to fourth place with 20 golds, eight silvers, and 20 bronzes.
Quezon City (21-12-16) and Cebu City (20-25-28) overtook Laguna and moved to second and third places respectively.
Cebu Province is currently in fifth place with 16 golds, nine silvers, and 15 bronzes, while Dasmariñas got 14 golds, seven silvers, and four bronzes for sixth place.
Lucena is in seventh with 13 golds, six silvers, and two bronzes, while Pangasinan is eighth with 12 golds, 15 silvers, and 14 bronzes.
Zamboanga City is in ninth with 11 golds, 21 silvers, and 14 bronzes, while Taguig rounds up the Top 10 with 10 golds, six silvers, and nine bronzes.
