PASAY--Our Lady of Fatima wasted no time in dealing City University of Pasay a bad beat with a 94-67 mauling to open its campaign in the 18th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities at the Cuneta Astrodome on Tuesday.
The Phoenix quickly soared higher than the Green Eagles, opening a 26-15 first quarter lead and never looking back.
Miguel Cabrera led Fatima with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Jeremy Sarona added 15 points on 3-of-4 shooting from three-point range, three rebounds, and two assists.
John Aquino made 20 points and nine boards for CUP.
