MANILA--TNC Predator made some noise in the local eSports scene as it announced the signing of former Mineski skipper Michael Ross.
Ross, who took the captain role for Mineski during its TI8 run, will now play the said role for its rival as Carlo Palad relinquished his skipper role in favor of getting back his usual role at the offensive as the offlaner, Sam Hidalgo's former role.
Hidalgo and Fausto announced their departure from TNC the night before, leaving Palad as the only member of the club's TI6 "Dream Team" that sparked its rise to the Southeast Asian eSports scene.
Mineski, now to be captained again by Chai Yee Fung, is actually in for a major rebuild as Daryl Koh and Anucha Jirawong left the squad as well, leaving him and Kam Boon Seng as the holdovers from its TI8 team.
Also joining TNC is carry player Kim Villafuerte, who will reunite with fellow former Clutch Gamer Armel Tabios.
The said roster shakeup is part of TNC's buildup for the Kuala Lumpur Major, which will kick off the 2019 DOTA Pro Circuit season.
Tigers leave TNC
Meanwhile, the internet cafe chain will now be only represented by one team as Tigers opted to become an independent group.
Just as Theeban Siva's quintet for the KL Major was named, the group also announced that it parted ways with TNC.
Tigers only made two changes to their lineup, bringing in David Tan and Jayson Lai to replace Trinh Van Tho and Lee Kang Yang.
