MANILA--After the dust settled last weekend, Green Archers United Globe remain the only perfect team in the 2018 WFL Elite league.

On Sunday, the Archers downed Ateneo 2-0 in front of their home fans in DLS-Zobel.

Joel Okono with a pair of goals and keeper Henri Ebanda stoning William Grierson in a late penalty kick.

The Archers are perfect with six points from two wins and a goal difference of plus-8. They have yet to concede a goal.

Ateneo got a great performance from their keeper Kenn James, who made a string of saves, including three off free kicks. Watch the highlights here.

Army and Fleet Marine entered Matchday 2 also on three points after opening day wins.

But they drew 2-2 on Sunday in ASCOM, meaning they are now behind GAU in the table with foul points. Fleet Marine is now solo second on goal difference ahead of their fellow military side.

The Adamson Falcons picked up their maiden win in the WFL Elite with a 4-0 victory over Stallion B in Vermosa on Sunday.

Gerard Etis opened the scoring in the 24th minute for the UAAP side. The Falcons picked up a barrage of goals halfway through the second half, from Allen Lozano in the 66th then a brace from Bless Brian Jumo II soon after.

This coming weekend sees Match Day 3 of this league with Ateneo taking on Fleet Marine, Adamson meeting Army, and Stallion B looking to bounce back against the Archers. Match schedules are still being finalized.
