CARMONA -- Reigning champions La Sallel bounced back from their disappointing draw last week against OutKast, venting their ire on a hapless Zobel side to set a season record in the PFF Women's League today in San Lazaro with a 17-0 rout.
Hans Smit's Lady Archers pounded more misery on their high school counterparts to reset UST's record win by even surpassing the all-time mark in which they made last season by a goal.
After given a final warning by their gaffer with their spot in the Malditas at stake, Irish Navaja and Alisha Del Campo contributed for more than half of their side's goals in which they settled the contest by halftime, where La Salle held a 7-0 lead.
Kyra Dimaandal gave the Lady Archers the lead just five minutes in to open the floodgates.
After that, Navaja went wide awake to hit for five, while Del Campo came close with her four-goal effort.
Fellow national mainstay Sara Castaneda hit a second-half brace in their record win, in which it was set by late strikes by Kyla Javier and Arantxa Del Mundo deep into stoppage time.
Mariell Tejada, Janna Barcemo and Rocell Mendano also scored a goal each to complete the beatdown.
