CARMONA -- The third Sunday action in the PFF Women's League saw UST retain pole position, as the first draw of the season was recorded in the doubleheaders that was played in the PFF NTC pitch in San Lazaro.
The Tigresses of Aging Rubio remain on top of the pile after blanking Ateneo for three unanswered goals in the opening match in the morning.
Shelah Cadag continued her march towards the Golden Boot with her 41st minute strike increased her goal-scoring tally to a dozen, averaging a four-goal haul per match.
Former UAAP best freshman Mary Joy Indac made it 2-0 in the 71st minute and Malditas reserve Bhebe Lemoran added their third a minute before full-time.
In the other tiff, Hiraya battled from a first-half deficit to force the first stalemate of the season against FEU for their first points of the season in a 1-1 draw.
After being blanked by champions La Salle to open their campaign last week, Hiraya fell behind at the half-hour mark when Sophia Dagaraga poked in the rebound ball to give the Lady Tamaraws the lead.
However, Natasha Alquiros' entry at the other side of the half-time gave motivation for the alumni side, when she picked out Marie Cadayona from a corner to level the match in the 73rd minute.
