Blue Eagles finish Bulldogs strong with 79-64 win

QUEZON CITY - The Ateneo Blue Eagles improved their winning streak as they took down the NU Bulldogs on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, 79-64.

The Blue Eagles claimed the number one spot in the standings, and they are now one win away from gaining a Final Four seat.

Still playing without the Nieto twins, Blue Eagles started off the game strong that made them finish the game against NU with a win.

The Bulldogs now dropped to 3-7 on the standings.

Thirdy Ravena made 23 points and 12 rebounds, while SJ Belangel had a career-high game as he fired 11 points in the Eagles' win.

Rookies John Lloyd Clemente and Dave Ildefonso chipped in 25 and 13 points respectively for the Bulldogs.
