CARMONA -- Champions La Salle are momentarily at the top of the PFF Women's League table after clinically disposed FEU, 3-1 in an all-UAAP tussle Saturday afternoon in San Lazaro.
The Lady Archers needed their trio of Malditas standouts to get back to back wins after their demoralizing draw a fortnight ago, with Sara Castañeda drawing first blood at the half-hour mark.
In the second half, La Salle captain Kyra Dimaandal had two chances to double their lead but her closest effort was denied by the crossbar four minutes past the hour.
Six minutes later, Alisha del Campo duly doubled their lead to ease coach Hans-Peter Smit's worries.
And with fifteen minutes left, Dimaandal got her deserved goal to take all the points.
Joyce Ann Onrubia got FEU's consolatory strike in the 87th minute.
