CARMONA -- Green Archers United finally won the first time in the PFF Women's League after subduing OutKast by the slimmest of scorelines Saturday morning in San Lazaro.

Kyla Inquig became the solution to Elvin Marcellana's attacking problems with her first-half strike the only difference between the two clubs to move out of the bottom of the table.

The former two-time UAAP Golden Ball awardee struck from just inside the box in the 25th minute with her right-footed shot past Jasmine Elauria.

“The girls had a good game, especially Kyla Inquig, she was a big factor,” said Marcellana on his match-winning midfielder who only played for the first time this season.

Inquig could have doubled their lead 15 minutes later after catching Elauria off her line, but the right side of crossbar denied her 30-yard effort.

But the defence led by Inna Palacios and Regine Metillo held their fort to dealt their victims a telling blow to their title aspirations.
