MANILA--Laguna won again and continued their rally in the MPBL Datu Cup this Tuesday against the Batangas City Athletics with a 61-54 decision.
Michael Mabulac, finished with 14 points, while Ralph Olivarez contributed 12 points and Lord Casajero chipped in 10 points as the Heroes slaughtered the Athletics at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.
The once fearless Batangas Athletics continue to fall down the standings in this season, as this game was their sixth loss.
They were also limited to their lowest ever production while only shooting 29 percent from the field, another record low for them.
Teytey Teodoro is the only team member who scored double figures for Batangas with 13 markers.
Fellow members Val Acuña and Jhaymo Eguilos scored a disappointing two points each during the entire game.
This game is Laguna Heroes-Krah’s fourth straight win, improving their record to 6-4.
