MANILA--The Magnolia Hotshots’ Paul Lee gave an impressive performance this week, earning him the Cignal-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week honor for September 24-30.

Back from his Team Philipinas stint, he made it a point to come back to Magnolia energized and ready to roll.

He led the Hotshots during the September 26 game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters with 22 points, 7 assists, 4 steals and 2 rebounds with 3 triples making them finish the game with a 92-76 win.

Four days later, he once again secured Magnolia’s win against the San Miguel Beermen, 109-108, with his game-winning basket.

Lee scored a staggering 28 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals making him once again the Best Player of the Game for the Magnolia–SMB match.

The two consecutive wins for Magnolia this week made them go up the season’s standings with a 4-1 record, second to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s 5-1.

The Hotshots can even tie the Barangay on top of the standings with a win against the Columbian Dyip on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Game time is at 4:30 p.m., before the 7 p.m. match-up between Alaska and Rain Or Shine.
