MANILA--Despite the entire province of Batangas being placed under Storm Signal No. 1, the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League will push through with its scheduled games on Tuesday night.
As per Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes, the doubleheader featuring the Bulacan-Makati and the Batangas City-San Juan games at the Batangas City Sports Center will still happen despite the threat of Typhoon Rosita.
The effect of the storm in Southern Luzon is not as huge as that up north, where it made landfall earlier Tuesday.
The winner of the 7 p.m. showdown between the Kuyas and the Skyscrapers will take the fourth spot in the Northern Division.
On the other hand, the Athletics look to continue their surge as they host the Knights in the nightcap at 9 p.m.
