CARMONA -- The fifth Sunday doubleheaders of the PFF Women's League sees UAAP sides posted wins against respective alumni sides to retain the status quo a bit after it was played out last October 7 at the PFF NTC pitch in San Lazaro.

The first of which saw Ateneo finally got their first win of the season after only getting a point in their first four matches, with the Lady Eagles of John Paul Merida pipped OutKast by the odd goal in five.

Cathy Cabrera drew first blood just before the half-hour mark, but Alessa Dolino struck back for the 41st minute equalizer to go level at the break.

Much the same in the second half when Martie Bautista regain the lead in the 68th minute, only to be canceled out by the former FEU defender just two minutes before full time.

However, Tessa Bernado had the final say in added time for Ateneo who moved up to solo seventh in the table.

In the other match, UST regained the top spot with another shutout win, this time with Hiraya their next victim in a 3-0 thrashing.

After a goalless first half, the Tigresses went wide awake at the restart for their fifth win on the trot, with Shelah Cadag's brace moved her to within just one goal away from leveling Kyra Dimaandal's goal-scoring record.

Cadag opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with a rocket inside the box, in which Hazel Lustan doubled their lead with a rocket of her own twenty minutes later.

The league's leading striker then completed her brace fourteen minutes before full time to complete the rout.
