MANILA--Forty-five teams remain in the hunt for the championship in the Rules of Survival-NimoTV Philippine Champions League.
The teams got spots in the playoffs after dominating the qualifying tournaments held over the weekend.
The 45 clubs will be divided into three groups of 15, and the teams in each group will slug it out in the venue where they are designated, either the Mineski Infinity branch inside the Madison Square Building or along Nicanor Reyes St. here or in Cubao, Quezon City.
The playoffs are scheduled for Dec. 1 and 8 in the Manila branches and Dec. 2 and 9 in the Quezon City branch.
The top five teams per internet cafe will meet on Dec. 15 at the Mineski Infinity Madison Square branch for all the marbles.
The winning team will receive PHP325,000 in cash plus PHP175,000 worth of in-game items.
