MANILA - FEU Tamaraws' Arvin Tolentino UAAP career ended after their loss against the Ateneo Blue Eagles during the Final Four, last Sunday night, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Tolentino mentioned post-game that, "Mixed emotions kasi last game namin, not the way that we want to end our UAAP careers. But of course, we will take it. It is what it is." Tolentino also added, "I hope na I made the FEU community proud, I made my teammates proud, and my coaches, sa lahat. Of course syempre, I was with Ateneo din, I hope maging proud din yung Ateneo sakin."
Tolentino only had four points and three rebounds on their semifinals game against the Ateneo Blue Eagles that didn't help the struggling FEU Tamaraws unlike their performance during the playoffs against the DLSU Green Archers.
Despite not playing for three games and being lost to his former team, Tolentino positively shared to us that, "Wala ng magagawa, past is past, whatever happened I'll take it, wala namang mangyayari kung mag-reregret pa ako basta mag-ffocus ako on what's ahead of me."
Tolentino said that, "Yun yung lagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko. Whatever happens, learn, move forward. So I cannot really move forward if wala ako matutunan sa mga nangyari, whether it be positive or negative. Right now, I’ve learned a lot from this game, from this season, from my UAAP career, and I’m just gonna move forward."
When asked what was his favorite moments during his whole UAAP career, he mentioned, "Yung Rookie of the Year ko, syempre yung game sophomore year ko against UST, Kiefer (Ravena) na-injured siya, ayun nakapag-deliver ako, yung first game ko sa FEU, how the community accepts me nakakataba ng puso."
Tolentino ended with "I've been a better person, a better player, lahat yun na-experience ko sa UAAP."

When Tolentino was asked on what's next for him, aside from studies, he still has to decide on going pro, he shared to us that, "'Di ko pa naiisip yun, dahil on-going pa yung season. My family and my agent, pag-uusapan pa namin what's next."
