MANILA--Coach Yeng Guiao now has an added agenda for Gilas' second tune-up game against Jordan on Wednesday night at the Meralco Gym in Pasig aside from putting his team into game shape.
“Ganun pa rin naman (game shape) but with some improvement,” said Guiao.
Gilas fell to Jordan in their first friendly, 92-98, on Monday night, but Guiao is hopeful that Gilas will become more cohesive and split the series.
"I’m sure with one or two extra days of practice, our execution is going to be better offensively," he further said.
He also looks forward to a more aggressive defense from his team.
“We need to improve our defense. They made shots that I thought were difficult shots, and those shots were challenged shots. So kailangan lang pagbutihin ang depensa natin [sa] susunod,” Guiao added.
