QUEZON CITY - It is a very peculiar season for the Adamson Soaring Falcons. A lot of heart was shown by the Soaring Falcons even before the game started.

Their hope was almost gone when the UP Fighting Maroons was up with a three-point lead in the final canto. Props to Jerom Lastimosa for extending the game with his three-point clutch.

"Pagkashoot ko ng three points sa gilid po, yung mindset ko is sa amin talaga ibibigay ni Lord" he said.

But during the overtime, the Fighting Maroons were ahead by two points on remaining seconds of the game. The 5-foot-10 point guard from the blue and white tried to do what he did before but it fell short and became another heartbreaking season for the Soaring Falcons.

"Pero hindi pala sa amin. So sad." Lastimosa said.

Lastimosa closed down his rookie year in UAAP with teary eyes after failing to cut Adamson's Final Four curse. He is also seen with Falcons graduating players Sean Manganti and Papi Sarr on the side while singing the Adamson University Hymn.

"Yung pinakita lang namin na laban kanina, actually, magandang laban pero talaga eh talo pa rin nagkulang kami sa -- hindi abot sa five minutes, " he said while fighting his tears to fall.

"Pagbutihan ko lang sa loob ng apat na taon ko. Mamatured ko parin yung mga laro namin pa. Ia-angat ko pa para mas maganda yung laro." Lastimosa said looking on the brighter side.

The recruit from Dumaguete's heroic act shows of what program Coach Franz Pumaren have.
