MANILA--Four teams which look to spark or stretch their respective winning charges will slug it out as the MPBL Datu Cup resumes on Saturday night at the Bataan People's Center in Balanga.

Cebu City and Pasig will clash in the first game at 7 p.m., while league-leading Bataan will host Pasay in the nightcap at 9 p.m.

The Pirates are fresh from snapping their six-game losing streak on Oct. 25 against the Basilan Steel, and they look to build on the said momentum as they travel up north.

On the other hand, the Sharks have now won three straight games following a 1-8 start and are now suddenly in the thick of things in the tight Southern Division playoff race. They are currently tied with the Steel and the Marikina Shoemasters for 10th place in the South at 4-8, a game and a half behind the Zamboanga Valientes, the Imus Bandera, and the GenSan Warriors for seventh to ninth places.

Meanwhile, someone's winning streak will come to an end in the main game between the Risers and the Voyagers.

Bataan currently holds the season record for the longest winning streak at 10, and the club looks to further extend the streak at home against Pasay, which won three straight that catapulted the team to a tie with Navotas for seventh place in the Northern Division standings.
