QUEZON CITY--While he did not utter a direct answer on whether he is retiring from the Philippine Basketball Association or not, Chris Tiu said that he is considering staying with Rain Or Shine.

However, he somehow ruled out a long-term re-signing.

"Two years is a long time," Tiu said on Saturday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

On why he said so, he explained, "I have a lot of things going on aside from basketball. I have personal commitments also. I have projects of my own. I also have some obligations with my family. My kid is growing up fast. I wanna spend a lot of time with them, especially in this very important years. There are a lot of things to consider, so let's see," which somehow looks like the reasons why the 33-year-old guard is also contemplating with retirement after just six years in the league.

Tiu is a co-owner of three companies and a host of GMA's long-running science show I-Bilib.

Tiu said that he will first talk with Elasto Painters' owners Raymond Yu and Terry Que before he finally makes a decision about the future of his basketball career.
