MANILA--Philippine Basketball Association commissioner Willie Marcial slapped Mark Barroca with a hefty fine for his hit on Chris Banchero's "male part" late in Game 4 of the Governors' Cup Finals between Magnolia and Alaska.

As announced on Thursday, the Hotshot will pay PHP50,000 as consequence for what appeared to be a closed fist that hit the Ace's groin area.

However, Barroca was spared of a suspension, making him eligible to play in Game 5 of the best-of-seven series on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Meanwhile, the commissioner also penalized Alaska coach Alex Compton for his post-game rant.

After finding Compton's statements "detrimental to the league," Marcial handed him a PHP20,000 sanction.
