MANDALUYONG--Bong Ravena told reporters on Wednesday that he is puzzled about reports that Terrence Romeo could be traded out of TNT.

"Honestly, ‘yung kay Terrence, I have no idea what’s the latest. I don’t know what’s happening," the KaTropa head coach said during the PBA Draft Combine at the Gatorade Hoops Center.

In fact, he even said that his star combo guard was in attendance when they resumed practice last month.

"Nagstart kami mga three weeks ago. Nag-practice siya noon," Ravena continued.

However, he admitted, "Nitong huling week hindi pa [siya nagpa-practice], and nangyari ‘yung mga rumors na yan."

He then explained, "Nakausap ko siya the other day. He came from a flu. I approached him on how he feels. Sabi niya galing siya sa flu."

While he neither confirmed nor denied the trade rumor, Ravena, whose TNT squad does not have either a first round or a second round pick in Sunday's draft, bared that he hopes his team moves up in the draft.

"Sana makakuha kami ng pick. I mean early picks, hopefully. We are trying to look for bigs. Kung wala, sa wings and sa guards naman," he further said.

According to reports, Blackwater's first round pick, the second overall pick of the draft, is being thrown in the mix in the rumored trade for Romeo.

Interestingly too, he added that Ravena is eyeing "a back-up guard for Jayson [Castro]" in the guard-loaded class should the KaTropa miss out on a decent big.
