MANILA--Paul Desiderio is ready bring his "atin 'to" mantra to the Philippine Basketball Association... whether he stays in NLEX or he ends up in Blackwater.

Desiderio, a major part of the University of the Philippines' turnaround from a 0-14 team in his rookie year to a UAAP Finals team in his graduating season, was the subject of the biggest surprise of the PBA Draft when the Road Warriors selected him as the fourth overall pick.

But just as the draft came to a close at the Robinson's Place Manila atrium on Sunday night, it was reported that he and Abu Tratter will be sent to the Elite for Poy Erram.

Still, Desiderio remains prepared to showcase his stuff despite the more surprising uncertainty of his supposed incoming stint with NLEX.

"Kahit saan ako mapunta lalaban ako. Kung ite-trade man ako o hindi, basta lalaban ako sa kung anong team lalaruan ko," Desiderio vowed.

Interestingly enough, Desiderio, if the trade pushes through, is set to reunite with his fellow ex-Fighting Maroon and Batang Gilas teammate Diego Dario, who was selected by Blackwater in the third round.

Trades were not allowed during the entire draft day, but teams can begin swapping their players and draft picks starting Monday.
