MANILA--Ray-Ray Parks's status as a Blackwater Elite is now suddenly floating as rumors swirled over the week that he might be traded to the Meralco Bolts as part of a three-team deal with the TNT KaTropa.

But regardless on whether the said trade will push through or not, Parks, the second overall pick of the Philippine Basketball Association Draft, is already thankful that he has been finally drafted to the said league.

"I just appreciate Blackwater drafting me [at] number two. It is a great organization and where I fall, I will just deal with the cards dealt and go for there," Parks said.

Despite the said distraction, he remains focused with his stint with Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League.

"I had totally no idea what was going on. As of now, I am focusing on Alab," Parks continued.

Following a home win against Formosa in Sta. Rosa City on Friday night, Alab is now 3-0 in the ABL season and will host Singapore in North Caloocan on Sunday night.
