Adamson HS mauls UPIS to go third in UAAP Juniors Basketball

SAN JUAN, MM -- Even without their notable big man, Adamson High clawed UPIS apart in a wire-to-wire 94-66 rout in the second round of the UAAP Juniors' basketball tournament Wednesday morning at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

The Baby Falcons endured the absence of center Lorenz Capulong as Adam Doria caught fire off the bench as they moved up momentarily to third with their sixth win in nine outings.

Doria led all scorers with 27 points on an astounding 9/12 clip from the field, including 14 in the second period as all players fielded by Mike Fermin scored a bucket in the game they led from the opening tip, leading by as much as 32 at the end of the third frame.

Allen Torres had 19 for the Junior Maroons who fell at the bottom to 1-8.
