MANILA — San Miguel Alab Pilipinas got their payback against the Westports Malaysia Dragons with a dominant 85-47 win on Friday night, at the Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.

Alab made a big lead at the end of the opening quarter, 21-13, which they consistently held up until the halftime, ending the first half with a 37-20 cushion.

The Dragons weren't able to catch up with Alab's intensity and eventually bowed down.

PJ Ramos led Alab, who scored their third straight win that secured their solo spot on top with a 9-2 standing, with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Renaldo Balkman added 13 markers ,7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Wong who was expected to be a threat just like what he was on their first game, only made 5 points for the Dragons.
