CARMONA -- Arellano ended the two-year reign of San Beda to nab their first-ever NCAA Juniors' football title with a 1-0 squeaker Tuesday morning at the PFF-National Training Center inside San Lazaro.

Newly minted Golden Ball awardee Jimmen Catap scored the lone goal midway into the first half in a thrilling final to take the crown in their maiden crown for the Braves, who weathered the late onslaught of the Red Cubs.

San Beda played the final 15 minutes with 10 men after goalkeeper Chevey Celeste was sent off for the denial of an obvious scoring chance on Catap.

The resulting red card cost Celeste his Golden Glove plum for the season's best goalkeeper, as his counterpart Charles Ledesma took the award instead for keeping a clean sheet in the final.

San Beda will not go back to Taytay empty-handed with skipper Vincent Baito taking home the best midfielder honors.

Apart fom Catap's MVP award, Arellano also had Earlmont Herrera adjudged as the best defender in Season 94.

LSGH got two awards, the Fair Play trophy and the Golden Boot for Fernando Suarez who top the scoring charts with eight goals.
