QUEZON CITY--Robert Bolick believes he has found a home in NorthPort.

And based on his baptism of fire in the Philippine Basketball Association, it seems like it's the case.

The former San Beda King Lion put up 26 points, the most by a rookie in his league debut in the last 10 years, to lead the team to a 117-91 blowout of Blackwater at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

For him, it can be attributed to the trust given to him by his teammates, especially the veterans.

"Si Stanley [Pringle], sobrang bait. Dami ko kaagad natutunan. Si Paolo [Taha] pati si Kuya Ryan [Arana]. Yung mga senior, yun pa yung sobrang kukulit at mababait. Yun pa yung lalapit at sasabihin, 'Laro ka lang,'" said Bolick.

He even thinks he is with the Red Lions all over again considering the bond they already have and how Coach Pido Jarencio rotates his players.

"Lahat ng players, mababait. Lahat binibigyan ng opportunity maglaro. Kita mo naman yung rotation namin. Walang limited playing time. Wala kang nakikitang ganun. Parang college team," Bolick continued.

With that said, all Bolick can say is: "Napakaswerte kong tao at andito ako napunta."
