MANILA--Bong Ravena confirmed that TNT will start 2019 with a training camp as he looks to finally fully infuse his system to the MVP Group's flagship Philippine Basketball Association franchise.

"We have so many things to work on and so many things that needs improvement," the KaTropa's head coach said.

While the core of the squad from last season led by stars Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, Jericho Cruz, Kelly Williams, Ryan Reyes, and RR Pogoy remains intact, TNT is looking for a new identity under Ravena, who only replaced Nash Racela as chief tactician last September, as the club finally plays a full PBA season under him--not to mention David Semerad and Brian Heruela, the two players the team got in the Terrence Romeo trade, and Mike Miranda, who it acquired from NLEX in the heavily tweaked Poy Erram swap, as well as the other newcomers coming in.

"Siyempre daming bago sa amin, dami pang adjustments. So many things to improve on both defensively and offensively," Ravena continued.

On the focus of the training camp, which will run for the rest of the week and will also serve as a means for the KaTropa to become closer together, he said, "Lahat ng plays sa system at lahat ng bago namin gusto i-implement as a team. The system and the bonding are big things if you are a new team."
