MANILA—Patrick Deyto, arguably the most prized goalkeeper in free agency right now, will find himself with Stallion Laguna ahead of the club's stint in the upcoming season.
Head Coach Ernie Nierras confirmed to Dugout Philippines on Tuesday night that Deyto, who previously played for Davao Aguilas last season, will join the Biñan-based club pending an official statement on Wednesday.

Deyto is not the only ex-Davao player who will head to Laguna after the Tagum-based side folded during the off-season as Daniel Gadia will also make his way to Laguna.
Gadia, who starred for the defunct Meralco Manila especially when the Younghusband Brothers transferred to Davao, was a late signing of Davao, in time when the club geared up for its bid to win the Philippines Football League title and the Copa Paulino Alcantara.
Gadia's fellow former UP Fighting Maroon Ian Clariño will also join Laguna, reuniting with older brother OJ, who is set for a pro football return with the club where he started following a recovery from a knee injury.
Nierras also bared that Laguna acquired the services of Fil-foreign players Andoni Nugas Seuscum and Selu Lozano.
"Andoni is from Sweden, [but his] mother is from Tacloban," Nierras said of Seuscum, who previously played for Swedish sixth tier side Svensk Palestinska.
On the other hand, Lozano, like OJ Clariño, is actually making a return to Laguna after taking some time off to concentrate on managing the Makati Football Club.
In fact, Nierras said, "Selu Lozano will be joining Stallion as a player as well as corporate partner. MFC will be merging with Stallion Youth Academy and will be named Stallion MFC Youth Academy."

The said additions are likely to be fielded in when Laguna takes on Green Archers United in a preseason clash on Sunday.
