MANILA—The San Miguel Beermen got their first victory in the PBA Philippine Cup after beating Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 99-91, Sunday night, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Christian Standhardinger led the Beermen with 26 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks while Chris Ross got 22 points.
