BIÑAN—Following a tough home loss against Bataan last week, Biñan's bid of making the MPBL Datu Cup Playoffs remains in the balance.

Following the results of the other games this past week, the Heroes remain in eighth place in the Southern Division at 9-13.

But with the Zamboanga Rapidos (8-12), the Parañaque Patriots (8-13), and the Marikina Shoemasters still having games at hand, the Nat Gregorio-coached squad basically has no room left for errors.

However, Gregorio remains hopeful that Biñan will make the Final 16.

"Gaya ng ibang teams, we'll just try our best to win every game na dumarating sa amin," Gregorio told Dugout Philippines.

For him, however, playing as a cohesive unit remains the top priority.

"The most important thing there is we play as a team. Yun naman ang pinakakonsepto nyan," Gregorio further said.

It was not the case in the team's previous game as the club only assisted on 14 of its 29 made field goals, so it will be the premium when it takes on Valenzuela at 7 p.m. Monday night at the Bataan People's Center in Balanga.

"At the same time, mag-stick sa game plan and believe in each other," Gregorio further said. "Nothing is impossible. If God will reward us on our hard work, then so be it."
