Late goal spoils GAU's trophy presentation as Laguna wins in preseason clash

BIÑAN—Stallion Laguna scored a late goal to beat Green Archers United, 1-0, in a preseason friendly at the Biñan Football Stadium on Sunday.

Moon Ji-Hoon broke GAU's hearts just when everyone thought the match was heading to a goalless draw.

The breakthrough came in the 88th minute when Moon, currently on trial for Laguna's second team, received the ball from incoming first team player Kang Jong-Min and slotted it in from the right side of the box.

Laguna fielded in a selection composed mostly of Team A players with some reinforcements from Team B.

The goal somehow dampened GAU's mood as the squad formally received the WFL Elite League championship trophy after the game.
