NBA legend Metta World Peace to grace NBTC finals, convention

PASAY--Forner National Basketball Association star Metta World Peace will be gracing this year's National Basketball Training Center Coaches' Convention.

As announced by NBTC national director Eric Altamirano on Monday during the press launch of the NBTC National Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena, the legend makes his return to the Philippines as an additional keynote speaker for the three-day event that will coincide with the conclusion of the national tournament.

Altamirano first announced the previous Monday that current Ateneo coach Tab Baldwin and former Australia mentor Rob Beveridge will be the main speakers for the convention.

The two-time NBA champion formerly known as Ron Artest will also be in the national finals, particularly the All-Star Game on March 23 here, as he will help one of the two Division 1 All-Star teams.
