MANDALUYONG--1Bataan essentially clinched a seat in the quarterfinals of the Chooks-To-Go-FIBA 3x3 Asia-Pacific Super Quest after zapping Anytours M1, 21-12, at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall on Saturday.
1Bataan started the game with a 9-0 blast and never looked back despite the Hong Kong-based squad getting its groove in the final six minutes of the game.
Alvin Pasaol tallied nine points, while Travis Franklin added six for 1Bataan, which will face 3x3 EXE Premier later Saturday for the top seed in Pool B.
Joshua Walker came up with seven markers, while former Alab Pilipinas import Reggie Okosa made four for Anytours M1, which was knocked out of contention following its loss to EXE Premier earlier Saturday.
In the other results, Aotearoa turned back Saigon, 17-13, while TSV Reading Cinemas eliminated Enerskin, 21-12.
