MANILA—Coach Don Dulay reiterated that the homecourt advantage that Davao Occidental has in the the MPBL National Finals is not enough for the team to win it all.

"That's not gonna win us the game. We have to go there and play," Dulay said ahead of the final game of the best-of-five series on Thursday night at the Rizal Memorial College Gym in Davao City.

Dulay's statement is somehow similar to what he said last week when he said that he does not "believe in homecourt advantage" considering that San Juan stole Game 1 in Davao City.

The Tigers reclaimed homecourt edge on Monday night when they thwarted the Knights' victory party with a Game 4 win.

But for Dulay, the loss will just make San Juan more willed to win.

"They're gonna come and fight. They're fighters. They're well-coached," Dulay said about the Randy Alcantara-mentored squad.

The winning team will get the MPBL championship trophy worth PHP10 million plus championship rings.
