MANDALUYONG--3x3 EXE Premier denied an all-Filipino final in the Chooks-To-Go-FIBA 3x3 Asia-Pacific Super Quest after ousting Pasig, 16-11, in the second semifinal at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall on Sunday.
After a tight battle in the first four minutes of the match, Keita Suzuki and Peter Perunovic sparked the Japanese side's pivotal 5-0 push before Tomoyo Ochiai finished the job with his crucial free throws.
Ochiai made six points for EXE Premier, also known as Tokyo Dime.
Pavlovic scored five markers for Pasig, which will still qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in Doha along with EXE Premier and 1Bataan, 21-18 winner over Jakarta West in the other semifinal, by virtue of ruling the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup.
