MANILA--Liyab ESports vies to get both the club championships on the line in the 2019 Philippine Pro Gaming League Grand Finals slated this weekend at the Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig.
Liyab has both its League of Legends and Arena of Valor teams make the championship round for both titles in the two-day finals.
However, Liyab will have tough competitions in both games.
Metro Manila-based clubs ArkAngel and TNC Predator and Iloilo-based ISC will look to spoil Liyab's bid in the LOL Finals, where PHP400,000 is on the line.
On the other hand, Bren, Kidlat, and Resurgence will battle Liyab in the AOV Finals, where the champion will take home PHP200,000.
Meanwhile, eight gamers will slug it out in the Tekken 7 Finals.
Neil Uy Tan, Reece Siasat, Anthony Lequin, Alexander Lim, Juliano Lozano, Andreij Albar, Alexandre Laverez, and Rafael Cueva will all compete for a PHP90,000 championship prize.
