MANILA—Alvin Pasaol scored the winning basket as Balanga turned back Moscow, 20-19, early Friday (Philippine Time) to join Pasig in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Doha Masters quarterfinals.

With him, Travis Franklin, and Karl Dehesa having to play the full regulation plus the ensuing overtime period due to Santi Santillan's ankle injury, Pasaol nailed a right corner deuce to break Moscow's hearts.

Entering overtime tied at 18 apiece, Yuta Bespalov put Moscow at match point with a driving layup at the right side.

However, Franklin found Pasaol open from the corner, and Pasaol swished the long tom to win it for Balanga.

Franklin led the Risers, who swept Pool C, with 10 points.

Pasaol, on the other hand, finished with nine.

Semen Debda put up eight markers for Moscow, which will face Riga later Friday for the last quarterfinal spot for Pool C.

The Scores:

Balanga Chooks 20 -- Franklin 10, Pasaol 9, Dehesa 0.

Moscow Inanomo 19 -- Debda 8, Bergman 5, Bespalov 4, Makshev 2
