MANILA--It was only Holy Wednesday, but PSM Makassar gave Kaya Iloilo the Good Friday feels.

The Indonesian side avenged Iloilo's late heart-breaker with a 2-1 road win in the AFC Cup at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod.

Two weeks after Marwin Angeles' stoppage time goal silenced the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor as Kaya Iloilo forced the 1-1 draw with PSM Makassar, it was the latter's turn of doing a road rage.

Rizky Pellu headed in a 21st minute goal to break the ice, while Finnish reinforcement Eero Markkanen made it 2-0 three minutes later.

Kaya Iloilo had a golden opportunity to break through as Abdul Rahman Sulaiman got a red card in the 52nd minute off a hard foul on Jordan Mintah just outside the box.

The home side, however, failed to capitalize and even found itself down to 10 men too after Jalsor Soriano aired his disgust at Marc Klok with an intentional kick at the 88th minute.

Kaya Iloilo finally got one goal as Bedic slotted in a penalty just as stoppage time began.

The win pushed PSM Makassar to solo first place in Group H with eight points after four matches.

Kaya Iloilo, on the other hand, suffered its first loss in the tournament and remained at five points.
