MANILA—Riga booked the first spot in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Doha Masters semifinals after knocking out Pasig, 21-15, at the start of the playoff phase on Friday.

Learning from their mistakes against the Balanga Risers the night before, the Ghetto pummeled the Kings late to move on the next round.

With the game tied, 13-all, Artus Strelnieks amd Karlis Lasmanis connived in a 4-0 run that put Riga up for good, 17-13.

Joshua Munzon kept Pasig in the match with a deuce, but his team continued to fizzle and Agnis Cavars delivered the knockout blow with a free throw.

Lasmanis led Riga, which will take on the winner of the Piran-Tokyo game later Friday, with seven points.

Strelnieks and Cavars each added five markers, while Nauris Miezis put up four.

Munzon, Taylor Statham, and Angelo Tsagarakis each made five points for Pasig.

The Scores:

Riga Ghetto 21 -- Lasmanis 7, Cavars 5, Strelnieks 5, Miezis 4.

Pasig Chooks 15 -- Munzon 5, Statham 5, Tsagarakis 5, Pavlovic 0.
