PASIG--FIBA 3x3 managing director Alex Sanchez is all praises for Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. president Ronald Mascarinas for successfully staging the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup, which wrapped up on Sunday.

"We've been impressed with what Chooks-to-Go has done over the last five weeks," said Sanchez, the guest of honor during the welcome dinner for the first FIBA 3x3 Asia-Pacific Super Quest also mainly sponsored by Chooks-To-Go on Friday night at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria Ballroom.

He added, "I’m impressed that with such short notice, they've been able to come up with a nice event held in SM malls."

The first leg of the President's Cup took place at the SM Megamall Events Center in Mandaluyong, while the Grand Finals happened at the SM Fairview Events Center in Quezon City.

The SM Megamall will be the home of the Super Quest, the first of its kind 3x3 tournament.

Pasig, the overall champion of the President's Cup, and 1Bataan, the runner-up, will represent the Philippines in the Super Quest, competing against teams from 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Two spots in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Doha are at stake in the Super Quest, although Pasig, which already clinched a spot in the World Tour by virtue of winning it all in the President's Cup, will use the Super Quest as part of its buildup.
