Alaska romps Columbian to begin Commissioner's Cup quest

PASAY--Alaska waxed hot in the third quarter to take down Columbian, 111-98, for its first win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday night.

The Aces outscored the Dyip, 34-13, in the third frame to turn the game around in their favor.

Chris Daniels made 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting, 16 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal for Alaska.

Chris Banchero added 20 points and two rebounds off the bench.

Kyle Barone made 30 markers, 22 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal for Columbian.
